Emily is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She is a native of Waterloo, Iowa, and graduated with honors from the University of Iowa, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2006. She has 10 years of professional nursing experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
In May of 2017, she graduated with distinction from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her Master’s degree in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. She has been working in the OB/GYN setting since then.
She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, ASCCP, ACOG, and NPWH professional societies.
Emily enjoys taking care of women of all ages by providing a safe, friendly, and judgement-free setting to discuss sometimes sensitive issues. When not at work, she enjoys running, bird watching, and making pottery.
